Family have close encounter with huge alligator
A video has emerged form the US of a family encountering a massive alligator during a hike.
The footage, captured on September 7, in Lakeland, FL, shows the reptile crossing a walking path right in front of a couple and their baby.
''I was enjoying a nice Sunday hike with the family when a large alligator crossed a walking path right in front of us and laid down for a few minutes before moving on,'' the filmer later wrote online.
