Terrifying parachute fail at US college football game
Video from the Newsflare archive from a US college football game in which a parachuter crashes into the stadium's stands.
The incident took place at the beginning of the game on September 16 between Wisconsin and Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah.
Video by Newsflare member Scott Thompson shows the parachute operator overshooting the pitch and striking a barrier at speed.
An audible thud can be heard, quickly followed by gasps among the crowd.
Happily, further video by Murray shows the parachuter quickly up on his feet.
