A lioness made a group of tourists' day when she lay down in the shade of their safari vehicle.

The footage, shot on September 16 in Kruger National Park, South Africa, shows the visitors silently watching the lionnes rest.

This was filmed in Kruger Park, South Africa. We arrived at a lion sighting and found this lioness laying right behind another safari vehicle full of tourists. It is currently very dry and hot and the trees don’t even have leaves yet. So this lioness decided that the safari vehicle will provide some shade and relief from the harsh African sun. The vehicle also couldn't move anywhere for quite a while as there was another lioness laying in front of the vehicle. Eventually the one in front moved and the vehicle could eventually move forward, leaving the lionesses to look for other shade again
