Mexico quake: 'It is amazing how people are coming together'

A Mexican student has documented his efforts to bring respite to the victims of Tuesday's 7.1 magnitude earthquake live on social media.

Known as Omar RG, the university student documented live on Facebook people bringing essential items to help victims of the earthquake.

The video, filmed on September 19, shows residents bringing shovels, masks and other items to rescuers so they can remove debris and look for survivors.

In the video, he says: "Lots of people bringing masks, shovels - all kinds of equipment to remove debris. It's amazing how are people are coming together and helping."

At least 245 people have been confirmed dead, according to reports.
