It was a fun ride planned by Gavin for his fiancé Katrina in San Diego on September 21 when the hot air balloon took an unexpected turn and gets stuck on the roof of a house in a busy neighbourhood of North San diego. Gavin had planned to propose his fiance so he did right before the balloon took this unexpected turn. Of course the girl said yes and then the couple alongwith the pilot landed safely in the Mira Mesa park after struggling for an hour of landing. People on the streets wondered how could a hot air balloon land on the roof of a house and were gathered to see its final landing. The cops were present at the landing site to make sure the landing was safe. "It was a once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience and they are never going to forget said the couple after their engagement.
