Camera-shy crocodile chomps on photographer's GoPro in Mexico
A camera-shy crocodile started chomping on a photographer's GoPro set up underwater in Banco Chinchorro, Mexico.
Footage captured in August 2017 shows the reptile clamp down on the camera device, ripping it out of its position.
The filmer told Newsflare: "The crocodile decided it had enough and went for the kill.
"Crocs are very territorial and it is likely this croc didn't appreciate the GoPro on its turf (it previously chased off several other crocs too). We were able to distract the croc long enough to retrieve the camera with only a few scratches.
"I want to stress that at NO TIME did the croc demonstrate aggression towards myself or anyone else in our group."
