Shocking moment typhoon jet crashes into sea
Shocking footage has emerged from Italy showing the moment a pilot lost control of his Typhoon jet and crashed into the sea during an airshow.
The video, shot on September 24, shows the pilot's jet shortly after attempting a stunt during an Italian airshow and crashing into the sea off the coast of Terracina, central Italy.
One onlooker can be seen clasping his hands to his mouth in shock.
The pilot has been named locally as Captain Gabriele Orlandi. He was piloting the Italian Air Force F-2000A Typhoon jet.
