A huge walnut tree fell on two cars in a residential area of Penzance, Cornwall on Friday (September 29).

One of the vehicles was crushed, while the second was severely dented.

According to the filmer, the driver of the crushed Audi had only parked there half an hour before the tree fell.

It is believed that rot may have caused for the 100-year-old tree to fall.

Fortunately no-one was in the cars when the tree fell, but the road will be blocked for several hours while it is chopped up. Apparently the tree had been dead for years and should perhaps have been chopped down earlier.
