Footage of hundreds of people waiting in line in front of a hospital to buy 'mooncakes' in China.

In the video, filmed in Guiyang, Guizhou Province on September 27, a long queue is lined up in front of the hospital and a sign reads 'provincial hospital's mooncakes sale point' on the wall.

The mooncake is a Chinese pastry traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The so-called 'mooncake' here is actually just a kind of vegetable patisserie sold in the hospital canteen for the whole year.

Rumour had it that the pastries were very fresh, tasty and cheap which attracted lots of people.

Because of their popularity, the canteen had to issue a notice: 'because of the limited processing capacity, each person can only purchase at most five-kilograms mooncakes. Thanks for your understanding.'
