The footage, captured on September 25 on a Delta flight from Seattle to Detroit, shows the air hostess comforting the 4-months-old boy.

"Do you want to come home with me?" she can be heard asking the baby jokingly.

"I think that's what he said," the newborn's parents reply.

Once the parents were sat down she gave the baby back to his mother.

''My wife and were pleasantly surprised by what our flight attendant did for us on our flight from Seattle to Detroit to Orlando,'' Sean Kilgus, father of the baby, later wrote online.

''The flight attendant offered to hold our baby while we got ourselves settled.''

''She was so nice and so good with him. My biggest surprise was how she didn't need to help us and did anyways,'' he added.

It was our first time traveling as a family with our 4 month old newborn baby boy. It was a rough morning up till that point. That's when our flight attendant offered to hold our baby while we got ourselves settled. She was so nice and so good with him. My biggest surprise was how she didn't need to help us and did anyways. The rest of the flight she would check on us as well as the other flight crew. We love Delta Airlines and especially our amazing flight attendant.
