A Tiongkok couple arrested a second class Agam immigration office in Bukittinggi, on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 and about 2 pm, for violating the residence permit rules.

The head of Agam's second-class immigration office, Ezardy Syamsoe, Friday, October 6, 2017 explained that the couple were arrested in the Tambuo Aur Kuning area in a shop, and the arrest was based on reports from the local community.

It is known that they have violated the rules of residence permit in Bukittinggi by opening embroidered hijab business.

In passport Zhang (42) and his wife Shi Xufen (46) came to Bukittinggi just as tourists.

However, their residence permit is used to open a business, it has violated the rules.

Ezardy Syamsoe explained, when arrested found an embroidered printing machine and a number of prints, and they also open a job vacancy location.

Currently, the couple has been secured in the second class Agam immigration office to await further process.

Married couples are also threatened to be deported for having violated the residence permit.
