Trapdoor spider captures a cricket - see right inside the burrow!
Not a video for the squeamish! Firstly, this shows a pet trapdoor spider ambushing her prey... then, you can see right inside her burrow as she commences her meal! The burrow has been specially located right at the side of a glass tank - so you get to see what's normally hidden dark underground!
She's a Sydney Brown Trapdoor. I took this video with a red filter covering the camera flash, since trapdoor spiders don't like white light.
