This close up Elephant encounter happened at Simbambili Lodge in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve which forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park in South Africa.The Elephants started invading the unfenced Camp and the Rangers tried to chase them out as the Tourists watched in amazment.Although it looks harsh, the Ranger did his best and shouted at the Elephant but it did not have much affect on the Elephant.A common practice is to clap your hands as well as making a noise to chase the Ellies out but this Elephant allready made his mind up. Not everyday you get Elephants in the Camps...
