The footage, shot on August 16, shows the hyena sniffing the car before it gets closer to the filmer.

"we stopped to view some Zebra that were about to cross the road, when this Spotted Hyena was slowly making it's way towards our vehicle," he told Newsflare.

"I asked my guests to sit quietly as she approached us and she shows us how curious they can be, also by sitting quietly allowing the hyena to feel comfortable enough to investigate without having any negative behavior."

We were out on a Chasin' Africa safari In the Kruger National Park, when we stopped to view some Zebra that were about to cross the road, when this Spotted Hyena was slowly making it's way towards our vehicle, I asked my guests to sit quietly as she approached us and she shows us how curious they can be, also by sitting quietly allowing the hyena to feel comfortable enough to investigate without having any negative behavior. All in all it was a great sighting and a win win for all.
