Incredible moment a car MELTED in the sun during 100F heatwave in Italy
British tourist John Westbrook took these alarming images in the coastal resort of Caorle in Northern Italy where the mercury passed 100F.
A Renault Megane car had been parked for a couple of days near the beach and the plastic parts on it were melting in the scorching sun.
Taxi driver John took video of the damage, showing the lights, wing mirrors, window fittings and plastic trim all melted.
John, 48, from Folkestone, Kent, said: "We drove past and just couldn't believe what we were seeing. Bits of the car were literally dripping off on to the road.
