Glasgow tenement partially collapses during Storm Ophelia
Video has emerged showing a Glasgow tenement that partially collapsed during Storm Ophelia.
In the video, filmed on Tuesday afternoon (October 17), a cherrypicker with workers aboard can be seen investigating the unoccupied building on Albert Road, Crosshill, which has part of its front section missing.
Explains the filmer: "My sister lives nearby. She sent me a text and I drove down. (The tenement) was in a bad way already. Part of the building had already 'popped out', between the second and third floors. I think (this collapse) happened overnight."
According to local media, three floors were damaged in the collapse at the front of the building.
