This baby barred owl was found by hikers walking the trail of a nearby Beaver Lodge Lands Park in Campbell River, BC. They knew who to call and MARS Wildlife Rescue team were able to perform a quick exam. Finding no injuries and the parent nearby the rescuers were able to find a suitable spot nearby and placed the baby out of harms way where the parent would still feed it until it was able to fly on it own.
