Further eyewitness video has emerged showing parts of an unmanned Russian spaceship burning over Dubai.

In the footage filmed on Monday evening (October 16), Gabriela was on the phone on her balcony when she saw a meteor-like object burning through the sky.

The filmer writes: "I saw what seemed to be a very bright star moving forward. While it moved, it became bigger leaving behind a wake of light. At the end of its trajectory (that lasted approx. three minutes), it broke into several shiny pieces that faintly disappeared​ in the sky. It was beautiful!"

The Progress MS-07 had previously delivered supplies to astronauts aboard the International Space Station.

At first local government officials had said the object was a meteor, according to agency reports.
