This camera shy pink-backed pelican from the Twycross Zoo in England shows visitors and the camera that he doesn't like it when anybody or anything is getting too close to its fence.

The video, captured on October 25, sows the bird biting the fence of its enclosure as it tries to push the camera away.

"The water bird goes into attack mode and after he had several goes at the fence, he moves away from it and has a go at his mate" the filmer wrote.

"The mate seems to know better and won't argue with him and just moves further along the tree trunk."
