+WARNING: CONTAINS SWEARING+

This is the shocking moment five youths attack a young couple's car in west London on Halloween, violently smashing a window.

In the video, captured on October 31 on a busy Horsenden Lane in Greenford, one man throws a large stick at a green Seat, striking it from close range.

Another man standing next to the driver's seat of the Seat is also seen striking the car with a club-like instrument.

Four of the men then drive off in the BMW waiting nearby, heading north. Another fled on foot in the opposite direction towards Perivale Underground station, according to the filmer.

He said the youths were angry because the driver of the Seat had not allowed them to overtake.

The video shows a passenger window smashed.

Writes the filmer: "The owner of a brand-new BMW (was) trying to overtake a Seat owned by a couple and started harassing them. After they overtook the Seat, they start smashing (its) windows."

After the BMW drives off, the filmer goes up to the couple in the Seat and suggests they park up.

"I filmed everything, mate," he says.

However, they drive off.

"Look what they did!" the filmer says to himself, pointing his camera in the direction of broken glass.

According to the filmer the driver's face was cut. He described the gang of youths as in their late teens.

He writes: "Everything happened when the streets were crawling with kids on Halloween night."

The filmer said he called the police at the time but has not been contacted by them since.
