A man riding an electric vehicle narrowly escaped from being killed after getting run over by a truck recently in Guigang City of south China's Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region.

The accident happened at around 11:24 on October 24. Surveillance video showed that the man riding an electric bike attempted to cross a street through vehicles that had just started to move ahead after the traffic light turned green.

The man rolled away from the truck's wheels, while the truck pushed the electric vehicle for about 30 meters forward. Fortunately the man was only slightly injured.

According to traffic police, the man riding the electric vehicle came into the blind spot of the truck, while the truck driver neglected to observe the nearby situation before driving.

Responsibility for the accident is still under investigation.
