This is the moment a callous crook swiped a poppy appeal collection tin and hid it down his PANTS - just a week before Remembrance Sunday. The despicable act has angered military personnel past and present after CCTV shows the man stealing the British Legion Poppy Appeal tin from the bar of a pub. The yob can be clearly seen casually unhooking the tin, which contained around £100, before shoving it down his trousers at the pub in Cleveleys, Lancs. The Dickens pub landlord Brian Jenkinson, 52, said he was appalled at the theft, which happened at around 12.45pm on Friday (Nov 3).
