Feeding time in a seagull's nest
A great video has emerged from inside a seagull’s nest showing three day old chicks being fed by their mother.
Captured earlier this month on a garage rooftop in Rammsjostrand, Sweden, the fluffy chicks can be seen eating an assortment of bugs, grubs and worms straight from their mother’s beak.
The filmer placed a GoPro camera next to the family’s nest to capture the close-up footage which gives a unique insight into the lives and feeding habits of the common seabirds.
“The parents were very attentive and if anybody moved in the garden, they swooped down on them to frighten them away” the filmer later wrote online.
