Extreme athletes highline between cliffs in southeast France
Nerve-tingling footage from southeast France of extreme athletes practicing highlining at the home spot of world-record holder Pablo Signoret.
The video, shot on October 12 in Guillestre, by Rory Stephenson, shows Pablo Signoret, Friedi Kuhne, Matthias Brunner, Jobber Moltmaker, Julie Julez and Stephenson himself highlining - an extreme sport in which participants walk along a narrow, springy band of rope suspended high above the ground.
In the video the athletes train on two lines of 100m and 190m in length.
