A wacky father and son have spent thousands of pounds amassing the world's largest collection - of SMURFS.

Robin White, 62, and son Chris, 29, have scoured the country over the past four years buying the little blue creatures at car boot sales.

The pair started the project as a way of tackling Chris' attention deficits hyperactively disorder - but since then it has become an obsession.
