London, United Kingdom. 21st Novermber 2017. Peter Dowd MP, Labour's Shadow Chief Secretary to the Treasury and Andrew Gwynne MP, Labour’s Shadow Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government deliver Labour’s ‘Make Homes Safe’ Petition to the Treasury.

The petition, which has been signed by over 100,000 people, calls on the Chancellor to set aside £1 billion in the Budget to fund the retrofitting of sprinklers in all council and housing association tower blocks.
