File footage shows Zimbabwean citizens celebrating in the streets outside parliament after Robert Mugabe resigned as president after 37 years in power.

In the video, filmed on November 21 2017 in Harare, people jump up and down with their arms aloft on a moving vehicle while others gather outside the parliament building and cheer in the streets.

Writes the filmer: "The crowd is a combination of workers who were on (their) way home and a crowd that had gathered outside Parliament, where impeachment proceedings had started."

Mugabe has died aged 95, according to multiple reports.
