RUSHES: Sleepy shopkeeper dozes through robbery
The robbery happened when the shopkeeper fell asleep took place at Adil mart on Pemuda street, in Bukittinggi, West Sumatera, Indonesia, November 1st 2017, 4.20 a.m.
The crime action taped on this CCTV showed a reckless man using pink helmet took money on cashier's desk and tried to pull out the till. However, the till was out of his grasp then fell down. The noise of the fallen till woke the shopkeeper up.
The shocked shopkeeper saw a thief directly grabbed out a machete approximately 90 cm length under the counter, and tried to chase the thief while still in a semi-conscious state.
When it was confirmed at his shop on Wednesday afternoon, November 22nd, 2017, the shopkeeper named Eriyus, said, on that fateful day he was very tired and fell asleep at the cashier's desk. The till which the thief dropped had woken him up.
According to Eriyus, after the incident he checked the recording of the CCTV. From the recording seen that the pink helmet man repeatedly enterred his store. Firstly it was 04.00 a.m, the man saw the sleeping cashier. He did not try to wake the cashier up. He was seen simply circling the cashier's desk to make sure that whether the shopkeeper really slept or not.
The man just left the store, but then few minutes later he enterred the store back. After he checked the situation arround and started to act, suddenly a costumer came into the store that made the man had to leave the store for the second time.
The costumer woke the shopkeeper to pay what he had bought. A money sheet of 100.000 rupiah given for the payment was just left on the table------
