Shocking footage shows man stealing cat sheltering under car in Indonesia

A thief in Indonesia was caught on camera stealing a cat from a quiet housing complex in this chilling footage.

The incident took place in Bukittinggi on 24 November 2017, and shows two man turning around the home to see where the cat is.

They surrounded the car and cruelly pulled the cat that is sheltering under the car.

Lusy Hermiwita the cats owner said the missing cat was named Utih, knowing his cat was stolen after seeing CCTV footage.

She added: "Both perpetrators allegedly not pet lovers. He seems to deliberately steal cats kind of persian not for pets, but for sale to a pet shop. The perpetrators used the lonely location of the house and rarely passed by residents to steal in the daytime."

According to Lusy, she had already reported the incident to the police and but heard no news, as the cat theft is considered a less serious issue.

In addition to reporting to the police, Lusy also spread CCTV footage of theft and the cat traits to various social media, especially spread to animal-friendly social media.
