Shocking video from the Newsflare archive of a road race in Indonesia in which one competitor elbows another at high speed, sending him tumbling from his bike and into spectators stood behind a gate.

But, as the video shows, the downed racer sensationally gets his revenge.

He takes off his helmet and waits for his rival to come back around the track.

He picks up a heavy-looking sack from the track's centre and when his rival approaches, hurls it at the wheels of his rival's bike, forcing him to spectacularly go to ground as well.

He then proceeds to chases him around the track on foot.

The footage was captured at 2017 Bondowoso Road Race in East Java on November 12.
