Departure Dubai // Emirates Airbus A380 // Birdstrike!!
After departure we were going through a flock of gulls. First, the enginecowling, then the engine no. 2 itself sufferd a birdstrike, but without further incident. For just a few seconds we noticed a smell like "roasted chicken". The captain confirmed a birdstrike into one of the engines and the bleed air system, but announced that we will continue to our final destination, because there are no abnormalities for an engine malfunction.
