Bizarre moment man pretends to be hit by a police car
A security camera in China has captured the bizarre moment a man pretended to by hit by a police car as part of a compensation scam.
In the video, which was filmed in Hefei City in eastern Anhui Province on July 10, the man stands looking at his phone in a car park.
When he sees a police vehicle approaching, he walks into its path and lies down.
When the police officer gets out of the vehicle, the man jumps to his feet, realising that his theatrics have fooled no-one.
It's a fairly common scam in China in which people will seek out a car driving at a slow speed and hurl themselves in front of it, only to ask for compensation afterwards.
