Footage of a wild elephant attacking a coach that broke down in southwestern China.

In both drone and mobile phone video, filmed in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan Province on December 9, shows an elephant smashing the front windscreen with its head and rubbing against the coach with its body.

Later, it pushes another lorry repeatedly.

An overturned car is also seen in the video.

According to reports, eight people monitored the elephant's movements using drones and other equipment.

The elephant reportedly left the scene after two and a half hours.

The only person on the coach at the time was the driver, who was not injured.
