Video from near Times Square, New York, after reports that an explosive device has been set off on a subway station.
In the video, filmed at 8am local time, shows the New York Police Department and the Fire Department of the City of New York on the scene.
The filmer writes: "This is the scene on 8th Avenue in the Times Square area.
"FDNY and NYPD first responders are on the scene as well as several helicopters in the area.
"Major streets and avenues from 34th to 42nd street have been shut down."
According to reports, one person has been arrested.
