Water Spout over Lough Neagh on the 3rd of June 20

There had been lightning storms over the province of Northern Ireland over the days leading up to this event, I was only in the house from work when I felt the drop in temperature and the hail stones then started, looking outside at the cloud structures I knew it would be a good time to head out with the camera in hope to get some decent photos of lighting strikes. Sitting high in the hills where tardree forest is I studied the weather then I spotted the funnel starting to form. At first I thought nah it can't be, I took 2 photos 15 secs apart and yep it was coming down. I knew I wouldnt have time to grab the tripod from the car so continued hand held. It only lasted a few minutes but it's one of mother nature's events I always wanted to see, I only wish I had been closer. .
