Boy freaks out when playing with cicada
Sydney Australia is in the grip of a crazy cicada season. Every couple of years these noisy insects come out of the ground by the millions and make an ear piercing headache inducing buzz all day long. Thankfully they die after a few days once they have mated and we can live in peace for a few more years.
A fun past time of children is to catch the cicadas and tie a string to their legs and fly them about like kites. Once the fun is over, the kids release the cicadas back into the wild.
Samuel Strickling age 9 doesn't seem to enjoy his pet cicada and when it landed on his back he really freaked out!
