This was the moment a train was held up after a flock of SHEEP blocked the tracks.

The driver noticed the animals in the distance and slowed to a crawl before reaching them in Vetel, Romania, on December 10.

He repeatedly beeped his horn as the train moved at under 10mph - hurrying the sheep along. But it took more than five minutes before they eventually shuffled off the tracks onto fields.

The driver said: ‘’It’s easy to notice two dozen sheep on the train tracks and we were not going so fast that we couldn’t stop in time.

‘’It was a patient game waiting for them to clear off. We just had to go slowly and keep making a sound. The passengers didn’t mind the short delay.''
