Incredible footage of a family of orcas sharing a stingray off the coast of Opito Bay in New Zealand.

The video, captured with a drone on December 17, shows one of the orcas holding the stingray in its jaw while another one tears a piece off to feed.

"They came very close to the beach (approx. 50 meters) and I started immediately my drone to spot and film them," the filmer wrote online.

"Locals told us that they live since a couple of years there but have never seen them before."

I am traveling with my girlfriend through New Zealand with a car and a tent. At that day we woke up as our neighbours told others that there were Orcas at the beach (Rings beach). So we woke up quickly and drove to the beach, but there were no Orcas to see. So we decided to go to Opito Bay for a Kayak trip. After we came back with the kayaks, the Orcas came into that bay. Two parents and their child. They came very close to the beach (approx. 50 meters) and I started immediately my drone (DJI Mavic Pro) to spot and film them. Locals told us that they live since a couple of years there but have never seen them before.
