Jet ski rider frees sea turtle tangled in shark net
A touching video has emerged from Australia showing a jet ski rider free a sea turtle which was tangled in a shark net.
The man, who also filmed the rescue, was fishing on his jet ski off Burleigh Heads on December 22 when he came across the turtle struggling in the net, close to the surface of the water.
The reptile was so badly tangled, that he decided to cut it free using his fishing knife.
"After about 5 minutes of cutting the netting from its flippers, he was set free to swim off," the filmer told Newsflare.
