A Ryanair plane had a bumpy landing on Tuesday night when it was buffeted by winds from Storm Eleanor on its approach to Bristol airport.

The Boeing-737, arriving from Budapest at 22:43, was forced to make a very steep descent before the hard landing.

Storm Eleanor hit the UK on the 2nd January 2018 - winds of up to 90mph were forecast, with the worst areas affected being Northern Ireland, Northern England and South-West Scotland. Despite not being in direct path of the storm, Bristol and the South West of England was still hit with some strong winds. With that in mind, I headed up to Bristol Airport to catch some landings in the gusty conditions.

One of those was this Ryanair Boeing 737-8AS coming in from Budapest at 22:43 local time (2/1/18). Notice the very steep descent and the hard and bumpy landing.
