UK supermarket puts hot cross buns on sale on January 6!
The mince pies are scarcely off the shelves but one UK supermarket is already pushing hot cross buns.
With 2018 only six days old and a full 90 days until Easter, Morrisons in Buxton, Derbyshire on Saturday had a large display of the buns on sale for 75 pence per packet.
"I was shocked that hot cross buns were already on sale six days into 2018," the filmer wrote online.
"I’m fed up of the relentless commercialisation of Christmas, Easter and Halloween," she added.
