Nutty professor dad builds son a hand generator powered slot car set for Christmas

Rather then giving his son a standard slot car set for Christmas, Jacob Strickling built him a hand generator powered slot car set.
Strickling started with a timber framed panel of plywood which he added legs, sprayed green and decorated with a white and black check.
He then set up the slot car set and electrically connected the wheels and motors from a toy ride on jeep. When the wheels are turned, they generate electricity to power the slot cars. Samuel (9) and his sister Mikalah (11) had a lot of fun racing each other and crashing the cars. The best bit is they get a lot of exercise by racing the cars! They even set up some dinosaurs to have some awesome crashes.
Strickling is a Science Teacher and YouTuber (Make Science Fun) and loves doing Science with his children and making fun engineering projects to entertain them.
