This is the amusing moment a "senior" driver struggled to back out of a pub car park, despite ample space on all sides of her car.

In the clip, captured on a dash cam at a pub car park in Wigan on January 5, the driver keeps trying to reverse out of the space but can't seem to get the angle right to actually leave the car park.

Eventually, a friendly lorry driver gets out of his vehicle to guide her out safely.

Writes the owner of the dash-cam video: "(The HGV driver) offers help as the ladies approach their vehicle and even closes their boot lid, then gets into the cab out of harm's way.

"The lady driver then really struggles to back out of a space about five times wide enough. The HGV driver eventually gets out of his cab and assists the ladies in leaving the space."

Myself and my family went for dinner at our local pub, funnily we were sat at the window facing the camera so saw the events unfolding from inside.

The HGV had unloaded and was either on break or awaiting paperwork (I'm an HGV driver as well).
