Sea lions swimming and sunning themselves viewed from cruise ship
While on a cruise we docked at the Port of Ensednada Mexico. While on deck waiting for my sisters to disembark I was hearing strange sounds outside. When I looked I was happily surprised to see huge sea lions in a pod sunning themselves on the rocky shore. As I looked closer, I saw a number of them swimming along the shoreline. They were diving and coming back up.
You can see a few people behind some fencing nearby to where the pod was sunning themselves. They give a great indication as to the sheer size of these massive animals. It also gives you a sense of wonder at how such a large animal is so majestic, graceful and agile while in the water.
