A maniac who shot fireworks at pedestrians and cars in the centre of a small town has been banged up for six months.
Norman Wood, 48, has been branded "entirely reckless" by police after his bizarre antics were caught on CCTV.
Footage shows Wood setting off dangerous fireworks and sparks flying on Broad Street, Kirkwall, Orkney, on Saturday 30 December.
Luckily no one was injured.
Wood pleaded guilty to setting off fireworks in a culpable and reckless manner before he was sentenced to six months in jail at Kirkwall Sherrif Court earlier this week.
