Koala in hot weather is given food and drink in backyard Australia
I live in Montacute where the weather gets quite hot and dry. Each year we get visits from a particular koala who climbs onto a tree next to our driveway seeking food and water. Each time we collect gum leaves from other trees (the tree he climbs onto is not a gumtree) and give him a container of water. The koala is very timid and friendly and returns each year without fail.
