Norwegian Breakaway tender ride from Grand Stirrup Cay to ship.

What started as a calm and pleasant morning on Norwegian's private island in the Bahamas, turned into a roller coaster, white knuckle ride on a tender back to the Norwegian Breakaway cruise ship. As waves crashed into nearby reefs, passengers feared the tender may capsize. Waves would periodically crash over the side of the tender at one pointing flooding the lower level with up to two inches of water. Once the tender arrived at the Breakaway, the disembarkation was even more frightful as the tender bobbed violently up and down and crashed into the side of the ship as the waves increased in intensity. Passengers scurried across the ramp connecting the tender with the ship one at a time fearful that the violent bobbing would throw them overboard.
