Late lane changer nearly causes crash on M6 Motorway, West Midlands, UK
Whilst driving southbound along the M6 at Junction 9 in the West Midlands, a driver in a Ford Focus swerves into the outside/3rd lane whilst undertaking me at speed as I approached slower traffic, I was momentarily distracted by the drivers brash manouver, when he turned back into the middle lane at the last moment, I realised the traffic had come to a standstill and had just seconds to brake avoiding a collision. I then placed my car towards the central reservation in case a vehicle behind me hit me and I would have not shunted the car in front.
