This is the adorable moment a cat meets her owner's newborn baby for the first time.

The footage, filmed at a home in Bratislava, Slovakia, shows the fluffy cat, called Bibi, observing the little one whilst he lies in a cradle.

Writes the filmer: ''We were curious about how our cat would react to the new family member.

''We placed our baby in the middle of the room so that our cat had the opportunity to look at the baby and smell it.''

The video has been made on the first day we came from the maternity hospital. We wonder. We were curious as our cat mainecoon would react to the new family member. We have placed our baby in the middle of the room so that our cat Bibi had the opportunity to look at the baby and smell it. We have not even been breathing as the cat will react :)
