As a Buddhist country, it is frowned upon to expose yourself here and can lead to a 5000 baht (Upwards of £110 at the current currency exchange) fine, or more for exposing yourself in public. With no respect to the country they are in and its sometimes strict penalties that can be enforced, these two girls wandered down the street to the beach in a very revealing manner.

Very recently two gay men from America were caught exposing their behinds at a Buddhist temple in Thailand and posted their naked behinds in poses at a temple, on instagram (Traveling_Butts), which is against Thai law, and also a blatant disregard of respect to the inhabitants of the country. it was an attempt to gain followers and it backfired when the pictures went viral of them flagrantly abusing sacred law here and they were subsequently arrested at the airport as they attempted to leave the country.
